Job summary

The UI Foundation in Moscow, Idaho seeks a Program Coordinator for Student & Early Alumni Engagement. The role supports day-to-day program operations, serves as the first point of contact for participants, and helps plan events and manage data.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, maintaining calendars, and generating routine financial reports. Travel and non-standard hours may be required; a valid driver’s license is necessary. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Moscow.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Ability to work non-standard business hours including weekends/holidays.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet policy requirements for driving university vehicles.
  • Experience in higher education or alumni relations or event coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate communication between program participants and managerial staff.
  • Coordinate arrangements for meetings, conferences and banquets.
  • Collect, compile and summarize program data and manage records.
  • Maintain program calendars and schedules.
  • Use University programs to create, review and approve financial documents and provide routine financial reports to the program administrator.
  • Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions.
  • Compose, proofread and edit a variety of documents with proper grammar and punctuation.
  • Use computer software for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research.

Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Required Other:
    • Ability to travel
    • Ability to work non‑standard business hours which may include weekends and holidays
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to meet policy requirements for driving university vehicles
  • Additional Preferred:
    • One year or more of relevant experience in higher education, alumni relations, engagement, event coordination or customer‑focused roles
    • Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Working with student organizations or volunteers
    • Coordinating events or engagement programs
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for long periods of time

Degree Requirement: Listed degree qualification is required at time of hire.

FLSA Status: Non‑Exempt

Pay Range: $23 per hour or higher, commensurate with experience
