Job summary

Children of America, Inc. in North Aurora, IL seeks a Program Coordinator to support daily operations, oversee classroom management, and help implement age-appropriate curricula.

You will maintain records, generate regular reports, and ensure compliance with policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards. Ideal candidates have childcare experience with management exposure, a CDA credential or degree in Early Childhood Development, and a commitment to quality education.

Qualifications

• Meets state and COA age requirement.
• Meet state regulations of Director Designee, Group Leader, or Lead Teacher.
• Maintains state in-service training requirements.
• Work Experience: Has previous work experience in childcare with management experience preferred.
• Education: Has obtained or is completing a CDA or has a degree in Early Childhood Development or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee classroom management and supervise daily operations.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate programs as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and generate regular reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Organize activities and events such as field trips and parent conferences.
• Manage supplies and materials to sustain a quality learning environment.
• Serve as third-level management in the absence of the School Director or Assistant Director.
