Job summary

Children of America is looking for a Program Coordinator to support daily school operations, oversee classroom activities, and implement age-appropriate programs that meet state and accreditation requirements.

You will maintain records, generate regular reports, organize events and field trips, supervise staff, manage supplies, and serve as third-level management in the director's absence while upholding our commitment to quality education and care.

Qualifications

• Meets state and COA age requirement.
• Meet state regulations of Director Designee, Group Leader, or Lead Teacher.
• Maintains state in-service training requirements.
• Work Experience: Has previous work experience in childcare with management experience preferred
• Education: Has obtained or is completing a CDA credential or has a degree in Early Childhood Development or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support the school in daily operations, including classroom management and supervision.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate programs for children as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Organize and manage activities and events, such as field trips and parent conferences.
• Oversee the use of supplies and materials to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Serve as the third-level management in the absence of the School Director or Assistant Director.
• Contribute to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for children while upholding the commitment to quality education and care.
