Job summary

Children of America in Montgomery County is seeking a Program Coordinator to support daily operations, oversee classroom activities, and ensure programs meet state and COA requirements. You will maintain records, generate regular reports, and assist in managing field trips and parent conferences.

The role requires prior childcare experience with leadership potential, a CDA credential or degree in Early Childhood Development, and compliance with in-service training.

Qualifications

• Meets state and COA age requirement.
• Meets state regulations of Director Designee, Group Leader, or Lead Teacher.
• Maintains state in-service training requirements.
• Work Experience: childcare with management experience preferred.
• Education: CDA credential or degree in Early Childhood Development or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support the school in daily operations, including classroom management and supervision.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate programs for children as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Organize and manage activities and events, such as field trips and parent conferences.
• Oversee the use of supplies and materials to maintain an effective learning environment.
• Serve as the third-level management in the absence of the School Director or Assistant Director.
