Qualifications

  • Five years of experience in the preferred occupation.
  • Relevant education may be used as a substitute for experience.
  • Appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above.
  • Experience demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of the Marine Corps organizational structure and the Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Marine Corps policies, management principles, and processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of a wide range of Marine Corps policies and requirements.
  • Expert knowledge of naval and supplemental Marine Corps correspondence standards.

Responsibilities

  • Skill to communicate effectively orally and in writing, develop reports, proposals, charts, and graphs and conduct presentations.
  • Ability to analyze and assess programs utilizing a provided model.
  • Skill in finding effective solutions to unique and/or complex situations.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
