Job summary

U.S. Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) at Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, CA, seeks a skilled operations planner and supervisor to track, consolidate and respond to taskers from HQMC, MCICOM, MR/MF and supported commands.

The role prioritizes tasks and coordinates across administrative and planning functions to support MCCS leadership. The position involves preparing read-aheads, Quad Charts, briefs and information papers, representing MCCS on committees, and assisting with force protection

Qualifications

• Four years of related management and supervision experience, with strong planning background.
• Familiarity with MCCS policies, concepts, and administrative coordination.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Track, consolidate and respond to HQMC taskers and those from MCICOM and supported commands.
• Prepare read-aheads, Quad Charts, briefs, information and decision papers, and reports.
• Coordinate MCCS planning across operations sections and advise leadership on tasks and timelines.
• Represent MCCS on committees and planning teams; liaise with Higher Headquarters and adjacent organizations.
• Travel may be required to complete work assignments and ensure timely response to tasks.
