We are currently hiring a Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) to support the UPMC Mercy Medical Oncology network team/office in Pittsburgh, PA. This position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and involves a regular full-time daytime schedule, Monday through Friday. The role is as a Treatment/Infusion Nurse working with the Mercy medical oncology team, caring for a large practice of oncology patients. The incumbent will also assist with triage responsibilities as needed.
The Professional Staff Nurse is a Registered Nurse responsible for setting standards for quality care, managing, and providing nursing care activities for a group of patients and their families through independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with team members. The role encompasses leadership, partnership, collaboration, and supervision.
The nurse establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, patients, and families to achieve optimal patient outcomes throughout the care continuum. The role demonstrates a commitment to the community and the nursing profession.
