Position Overview:

We are hiring a FLEX Full-Time Professional Staff Nurse, ONC (RN) to float between our Medical Oncology offices located east of Pittsburgh, PA. The offices include Indiana, PA, and Somerset, PA. This position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus, mileage reimbursement, and a FLEX full-time daytime schedule Monday through Friday, floating between offices as a Treatment/Infusion nurse.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in quality improvement efforts, identify opportunities, and utilize research and evidence-based practices to enhance clinical care and patient satisfaction.
• Maintain accountability for professional development and actively participate in shared governance, goal setting, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with colleagues, patients, and families, demonstrating cultural competence and safety awareness.
• Apply adult learning principles to educate patients, families, and staff, supporting their development and serving as a preceptor if applicable.
• Use the nursing process within Relationship Based Care to create a healing environment, formulate daily goals, and develop holistic, patient-centered care plans. Communicate effectively with the care team, document comprehensively, and promote safety, quality, and satisfaction.
