Job summary

JLL in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a Facility Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of facility projects across sites. You will manage contractor relations, budgets, schedules, and compliance, driving capital project outcomes.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams and clients, overseeing safety standards, and ensuring on-time delivery within budget. On-site, 8-hour day shift, some travel likely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in Facility Management and/or Project Management (2-5 years).
• Experience managing project scope, budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of facility operating systems and infrastructure replacement projects.
• Ability to manage construction and capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and financial tracking.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using project management tools or BI reporting systems (preferred).

What this job involves:

As a Facility Project Manager at JLL, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of facility and infrastructure-related projects across multiple sites and project phases. This role is responsible for managing contractor and vendor relationships, overseeing project financials, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to support operational excellence and maintain high-performance project delivery standards. This position plays a key role in supporting regional facility management initiatives and driving successful capital project outcomes.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead and coordinate project teams including contractors, property management, operating engineers, client representatives, security, and technology teams.
• Manage multiple facility and infrastructure projects from planning and approval through construction, turnover, and financial closeout.
• Define project scopes, review vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective project execution.
• Monitor project budgets, cash flow forecasts, schedules, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with JLL operational standards, safety requirements, local regulations, and client expectations.
• Provide regular project updates using JLL systems and collaborate with regional teams to support operational performance and project delivery goals.
• Support work order management, process improvement initiatives, and best practice implementation across the region.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in Facility Management and/or Project Management.
• Experience managing project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and contract negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of facility operating systems and infrastructure replacement projects.
• Ability to manage construction and capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and financial tracking.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in commercial real estate, facilities operations, or construction environments.
• Familiarity with Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) operations and capital project processes.
• Experience using project management tools, dashboards, or business intelligence reporting systems.
• Knowledge of safety programs, hazard control practices, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a mobile environment and adapt to changing business needs.
• Flexibility to support regional travel and varying work schedules as required.
