Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Production Tech 2 in Colorado to partner with Manufacturing and Quality ensuring well-finished products meeting customer standards.

You will report to the Manufacturing/Operations Supervisor and contribute to testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Responsibilities include developing test specs from blueprints, performing final system tests, and preparing technical reports summarizing findings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training required.
• 1+ year related experience.
• Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test and troubleshoot circuits and assemblies.
• Develop test specifications and procedures from blueprints.
• Test and diagnose assemblies and final systems.
• Perform rework on assemblies as needed after testing.
• Soldering skills required; may use specialized test equipment.
• Prepare technical reports and summarize test findings.
