Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking a Production Tech 2 in Andover, MA for hands-on testing and assembly work. You will set up, calibrate, test and troubleshoot circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies, reading blueprints and diagrams to guide procedures.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, soldering skills, and the ability to document findings in technical reports while supporting test equipment setup and configuration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of related experience.
• Must be current Temporary Employee at MKS doing Production Tech 2 work.
• Experience testing digital and/or analog systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate, test and troubleshoot circuits and components.
• Test assemblies and final systems per blueprints and diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and rework assemblies or systems as needed.
• Prepare technical reports with findings and recommendations.
• Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment.
