Job summary

MKS Instruments in Broomfield is seeking an Inspector 2 to partner with other inspectors to ensure product conformance to prints and specifications. You will report to the Sr.

Quality Manager and learn mechanical inspection techniques aligned with company procedures. Responsibilities include inspecting products in lab and cleanroom environments, using PLM/ERP systems for documentation and transactions, and following written drawings, procedures, and specifications to determine inspection methods

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn mechanical inspection in a fast-paced environment.
• Aptitude with numbers and basic math and geometry.
• Ability to interpret visual information.
• Proficient computer skills.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Learn mechanical inspection techniques and product requirements.
• Follow written procedures, drawings, sketches and specifications.
• Inspect products mechanically to prints and specifications to ensure conformance.
• Interact with the PLM system to access documentation and interacting with the ERP system to perform transactions.
• Performing mechanical and visual inspection in both a lab and cleanroom environment.
