Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Technician I to execute manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation, and packaging with supervision. You will set up equipment, resolve performance issues, and maintain compliant operations to meet OEE targets.

Shifts run 1st-3rd, with responsibilities spanning line work, equipment setup, and quality checks. The role emphasizes training teammates and adhering to GMP, safety, and ALCOA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude; ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues to operations teams.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
• Understanding of maintaining high quality and site policies.
• Experience with SAP, MAXIMO, and related systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the line per scheduling priorities and production expectations.
• Proficiently operate multiple unit operations across the business.
• Set up, run, blow, clean, and clear equipment per BOP/Master batch records.
• Perform in-process quality checks and basic repairs as needed.
• Train colleagues on equipment and processes as a qualified trainer.
• Follow GMP, safety, and ALCOA data integrity guidelines.
