Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Technician I to execute manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation, and packaging under supervision. You will setup equipment, run routines, and promptly address performance issues while following GMP and ALCOA standards.

On the line, you will monitor operations, document batch records, train colleagues, and support continuous improvement efforts. You must stand 8–12 hours and lift up to 25 pounds, maintaining a safe, quality-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
• Experience with HMI controls, vision inspection, and product serialization systems.
• Experience with SAP, MAXIMO, and POMs.
• Ability to stand 8–12 hours and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to train fellow technicians.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in Team Member responsibilities or equivalent; know GMP policies.
• Operate on the line following daily priorities and production expectations.
• Set up, run, blow, clean, and clear equipment per batch records.
• Perform in-process quality checks and minor equipment repairs.
• Train colleagues on equipment and processes.
