Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Technician I to execute manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation, and packaging with supervision. You will set up equipment, monitor processes, and resolve issues to meet OEE targets while following GMP guidelines.

The role involves troubleshooting, training teammates, and maintaining a compliant, audit-ready production area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate preferred.
• 2–3 years of cGMP manufacturing experience recommended.
• Ability to troubleshoot and communicate issues to operations teams.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for routine processes and operate multiple unit operations.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues to meet OEE targets.
• Perform in-process quality checks and repairs as needed.
• Train colleagues on equipment and process as a qualified trainer.
• Maintain an audit-ready production area and follow GMP procedures.
