Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Production Technician I to execute manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation, and packaging with GMP oversight. You set up equipment, resolve issues, and maintain operation within target OEE while ensuring quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of general manufacturing experience in a cGMP environment is preferred.
• Must troubleshoot and communicate issues effectively to operations teams.
• Ability to use basic computer programs and learn new systems quickly.
• Familiar with GMP policies and site quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the production line, set up, run, clean and reset equipment per batch records.
• Monitor processes, identify issues and communicate with the right resources.
• Perform in-process quality checks and minor equipment troubleshooting.
• Train colleagues on equipment and processes as needed.
• Adhere to ALCOA, GMP and safety guidelines; maintain audit-ready area.
• Support shift-based scheduling and production targets across lines.
• Demonstrate AbbVie behaviors and participate in safety initiatives.
• Follow EH&S procedures and site policies consistently.
