Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Production Technician I to execute manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation, and packaging with supervision. You will set up equipment, monitor operations, and resolve equipment issues while upholding GMP standards and optimizing OEE.

You’ll report events, identify improvements, and support written documentation and ALCOA compliance. Responsibilities include line work, multi-unit operation, minor troubleshooting, instrument setup, and training colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certificate or degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of cGMP manufacturing experience recommended.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to train colleagues and operate in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment for routine production and monitor processes.
• Operate line equipment and manage scheduling priorities for the day.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure ALCOA compliance.
• Train fellow technicians on equipment and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, audit-ready production area and follow safety policies.
• Document operations and communicate issues to the team.
