Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Technician to maintain and inspect grinding and related equipment across a North American site network. The role involves ensuring proper operation, monitoring material flow, and performing minor repairs as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a high mechanical aptitude, be able to work 12-hour shifts in outdoor, dusty environments, and lift heavy loads while following all safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs regularly and pass a physical fit test.
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect grinding and associated equipment.
• Monitor material flow and report issues to supervisors.
• Operate valves, slides, and gates to control material flow as directed.
• Assist maintenance with repairs and communicate malfunctions.
• Work outdoors in extreme temperatures and dusty environments.
• Use PPE and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Operate heavy equipment as required (wheel loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, forklifts, manlifts).
