Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry
• Working knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude and general plant maintenance
• Operates skid-steer or man-lift a plus
• Stick welding, arc welding and light fabrication a plus
• Basic computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment in a state of readiness and perform inspections
• Prepare daily/weekly department operating reports
• Diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of fixed mechanical equipment, systems and machinery
• Perform emergency repairs to address plant breakdowns
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and company policies; complete required paperwork
