Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment in peak condition.

You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and generate daily/weekly reports while diagnosing and repairing a wide range of fixed mechanical equipment and systems. The role requires 2+ years in mechanical repair in heavy industry, basic mechanical aptitude, and willingness to operate skid-steer and light welding tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and general plant maintenance experience (change screens, welding, cutting torch, wrenching).
• Operating a skid-steer or man-lift is a plus; stick/arc welding and lite fabrication are advantageous.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment following manufacturer service intervals and company procedures.
• Inspects equipment condition, performs repairs, and reports findings to the supervisor.
• Provides emergency repairs to address plant breakdowns and maintains replacement parts inventory.
• Adheres to all safety, environmental, and company policies; completes paperwork in a timely manner.
