Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 7–10 years experience in manufacturing environment, assembly required.
• Ability to read and understand written/verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to interpret charts, tables, handbooks and precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Assign, organize, prioritize and communicate expectations and workload for material handling team.
• Track results against expectations and take corrective action.
• Assist in resolving conflict between employees.
• Train material handling associates on requirements and reading standard work instructions.
• Assist Manager in conducting and facilitating team meetings.
• Use MS Excel to track parts for production.
• Train cell associates on requirements, how to read documentation and shop routings.
• Assist supervisor in conducting team meetings.
• Administer vacation planning to keep workflow aligned with customer demand.
• Provide assignment information to area supervisor for performance reviews.
• Use Excel to track vacation.
• Lead high performance teams and support lean/Kaizen initiatives.
• Collaborate with Customer Service demand management.
• Pull jobs as needed and resolve picking errors.
