Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a dedicated Material Handling Lead in New Britain, CT to coordinate daily production workflow. You will assign workloads, monitor results, and train associates on standard work instructions and routing documentation.

The role emphasizes Lean and Kaizen collaboration, data analysis, and cross-functional teamwork to meet customer demands. Strong English, Excel/Access skills, and prior manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment and assembly preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions in English and read documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assign, organize, prioritize and communicate workload for material handling team.
• Track results against expectations for department and take corrective action.
• Assist in resolving conflict between employees.
• Train material handling associates on requirements and how to read standard work instructions.
• Assist Manager in conducting and facilitating team meetings.
• Use MSS to track parts for production.
• Train cell associates on requirements, how to read documentation, shop routings, and test stand usage.
• Administer vacation planning and scheduling to meet customer demands.
• Provide job assignment information to area supervisor for performance reviews.
• Use Excel to track vacations and data.
• Use data collection and reporting techniques to analyze data and determine action.
• Lead High Performance Teams and work with Demand management.
• Assist in pulling jobs and resolving picking errors.
