Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to provide technical leadership while guiding a small team of engineering technicians. The role balances hands-on engineering with supervision, driving process improvements, new product introductions, and cost, safety, and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering field with 4+ years of experience in a production environment.
• Advanced knowledge to oversee staff and their routine activities.
• Experience leading projects and providing technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process improvement, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to ensure safety and compliance while achieving performance.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Individual Contribution – leads projects from concept to implementation and documents processes.
• Process Improvement – drives innovation and improvement plans across site operations.
• People Leadership – supervises and develops engineering technicians and balances resources.
• Strategic Improvement – partners with Operations to set engineering priorities and KPIs.
• Budget & Expense Planning – supports capital budgeting and manages projects and spending.
• Internal and/or Supplier Interaction – communicates with suppliers and internal customers to define specs.
