Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to support a work cell in our Connecticut facility. You will read work orders, move materials, load/unload, and help ensure on-time, high-quality output while following safety and 5S guidelines.

You'll work with a cell team to meet production standards, participate in Lean and Kaizen initiatives, and cross-train in other areas as needed. High school diploma and 6-12 months manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of manufacturing experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to read and follow English instructions.
• Willing to learn and cross-train in other areas.
• Attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Participates in Lean and Kaizen activities.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to identify materials to be moved.
• Opens containers and loads/unloads materials to pallets, trays, and shelves.
• Loads materials into vehicles and conveys them to designated areas.
• Operates industrial truck or hoist to assist loading and moving materials.
• Monitors cell workflow to ensure product flow and production standards.
• Adheres to safety and 5S guidelines and keeps a clean work area.
• Collaborates with team and participates in improvement activities.
