Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Associate to assist in defining methods and sequences for manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient workflows and reliable output. You will collaborate with Quality Engineering and shop floor teams to implement rework instructions and streamline processes.

The role emphasizes creating 3D models and detailed drawings, maintaining design data, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across tooling and production

Qualifications

• Knowledge of aerospace or similar industry manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Ability to apply continuous improvement methods to manufacturing functions (e.g. process mapping, design-to-production automation).
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing engineers in determining methods and sequence of manufacturing operations for products, machine parts, and assemblies to achieve efficient and reliable processes.
• Create and edit travelers and work instructions for fabrication, assembly, test, and rework information.
• Reduce setup and run times by researching tool and fixture needs and recommending designs for required tools.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Create and maintain 3D models and detailed engineering prints using CAD software; manage design data with PDM to ensure version control.
