Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Production Supervisor II to lead a team in Auburn, CA on the 1st shift. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while managing multiple shifts as needed.

Responsibilities include applying lean tools, monitoring KPIs, planning resources, mentoring staff, and coordinating with Engineering and Quality to sustain manufacturing excellence in metal fabrication, assembly and test.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years in the field or related area; cellular manufacturing preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and apply lean manufacturing tools to drive process improvements.
• Use daily KPIs and problem-solving methods to close gaps to plan.
• Provide resource planning and budgeting inputs for monthly/annual budgets.
• Review daily resource allocation to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Mentor staff and make staffing decisions to drive growth.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to define/modify manufacturing instructions.
