Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Elyria, OH is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–Midnight). You will lead a team in metal fabrication, assembly or test, uphold safety and quality, and meet customer schedules with cost controls.

You will apply lean tools, manage staffing, coach staff, and collaborate with engineering and quality to ensure proper instructions and processes. Requires 2+ years supervisory experience; 5+ years manufacturing preferred.

Formación

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or machine knowledge preferred.
• Lean manufacturing tools, standard work, 5S, replenishment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and use lean manufacturing tools to drive improvements.
• Provide inputs to monthly/annual budgets and staffing plans.
• Review KPIs and drive daily problem solving using 8D/5 Whys.
• Ensure quality issues are identified and addressed promptly.
• Manage daily resource allocations to meet production schedules.
• Make staffing decisions and coach employees for growth.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality on manufacturing instructions.
