Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor II for Electronics Assembly to lead a skilled team in metal fabrication, assembly, and test. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while applying lean manufacturing principles.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in electronics manufacturing, strong schematic interpretation, and the ability to coordinate resources and staffing to meet customer demand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Understand basic electronics components functionalities, circuitry and ESD awareness.
• Able to interpret schematic diagrams (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001) and quality criteria.
• Knowledge of cellular manufacturing and Lean/continuous improvement practices.
• Proficient with MS Office and data reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify lean manufacturing tools to drive improvements and mentor teammates.
• Provide inputs on resource planning, overtime, and budgeting for monthly/annual plans.
• Assist Value Stream Managers with monthly reporting to senior management.
• Review KPIs and use data to drive daily problem solving.
• Ensure quality by managing non-conforming materials and scrap/rework.
• Coordinate with other groups to ensure products meet parameters and schedules.
• Make staffing decisions to build and grow the team.
• Coach employees through performance planning and development.
