Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Full-Time Production Specialist to join our safety-focused team. This hands-on role involves lifting and stacking 40 lb. propane cylinders outdoors, with cleaning, leak-testing, and inspection performed for customer safety.

Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience helps, and you’ll operate various stations from painting to stacking on a shift from 4:00am to 2:30pm. We offer clear growth from Level I to II and Senior, with pay scales shown.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Applicants must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Operates washer functions: places cylinders on conveyor, sorts, removes sleeve and labels.
• Dispatches cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Completes paint line operations: loads cylinders, applies paint, unloads cylinders.
• Operates shot blast, tare weight entry, capper, and stacker.
• Performs cylinder refurb operations and stacks finished product.
• Conducts quality checks and ensures safe handling during shifts.

Pay:

With consistent learning and strong performance, you can quickly advance from Level I to Level II and up to Senior Level. Below is the pay scale that shows your opportunity for growth:

Responsibilities

• Performs Washer functions which include placing cylinders on conveyer belt, sorting, removing sleeve and peeling label.
• Cylinders dispatch to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Completes Paint Line operations which include loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger.
• Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry station, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing).
• Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
• Performs cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.
• Stacks finished product.
• Checks for quality assurance.
• Some positions may require the ability to lift 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and in all weather conditions

Qualifications

• Possess integrity and a good work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime, as required
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent
