Job summary

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is hiring a 2nd Shift Full-Time Production Specialist. You will work outdoors handling propane cylinders, performing washer, paint line, and refinish steps, with safety and quality in mind.

Scheduling is from 6:00pm to 4:30am, and starting pay is $17.25 per hour, with clear growth in pay scale based on levels. The role demands physical effort, including lifting up to 35 pounds, and a team-oriented environment with opportunities for advancement and benefits like

Qualifications

• Must possess integrity and a good work ethic.
• Punctual, dependable and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime, as required.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Performs Washer functions which include placing cylinders on conveyer belt, sorting, removing sleeve and peeling label.
• Cylinders dispatch to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Completes Paint Line operations which include loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger.
• Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry station, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing).
• Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
• Performs cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.
• Stacks finished product.
• Checks for quality assurance.

This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role where you’ll frequently lift and stack 40 lb. propane cylinders while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Every cylinder you handle is cleaned, leak-tested, and inspected, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. Pay: $17.25
