Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is seeking a Full-Time Production Specialist to join a safety-driven team outdoors. The role involves physically handling 40 lb cylinders, moving through paint, rework, and packaging processes, with conveyors, paints, and quality checks.

Responsibilities include stacking, leak testing, and ensuring product quality while complying with safety standards. Applicants should be prepared for outdoor work in variable weather and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting 40 lb cylinders.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Place cylinders on conveyor belt and sort, remove sleeve, and peel label.
• Dispatch cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Perform paint line operations including loading cylinders and applying paint bag.
• Operate Shot Blast, Tare weight entry, Capper, and Stacker.
• Check for leaks, weight issues, or sleeve malfunctions.
• Perform cylinder refurb operations as required by workstation.
• Stack finished product and ensure quality assurance.
• May be required to lift up to 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.

This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role where you'll frequently lift and stack 40 lb. propane cylinders while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Every cylinder you handle is cleaned, leak-tested, and inspected, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. Pay

With consistent learning and strong performance, you can quickly advance from Level I to Level II and up to Senior Level. Below is the pay scale that shows your opportunity for growth:

• Production Specialist I $ 18.50
• Production Specialist II $ 19.50
• Sr Production Specialist $ 20.50

Responsibilities

• Performs Washer functions which include placing cylinders on conveyer belt, sorting, removing sleeve and peeling label.
• Cylinders dispatch to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Completes Paint Line operations which include loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger.
• Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry station, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing).
• Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
• Performs cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.
• Stacks finished product.
• Checks for quality assurance.
• Some positions may require the ability to lift 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and in all weather conditions

Qualifications

• Possess integrity and a good work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime, as required
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States
• Applicants must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
