Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a 2nd Shift Full-Time Production Specialist to join our safety-focused team. This hands-on role involves lifting 40 lb propane cylinders outdoors in varying weather, with training, growth opportunities, and a clear pay scale from 18.50 to 20.50 per hour.

You will operate on the production line, perform quality checks, and support the manufacturing process in a fast-paced environment. Overtime and teamwork are essential, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for

Responsibilities

• Place and move cylinders on the conveyer belt and organize shelves.
• Dispatch cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations; stack finished products.
• Operate paint line, load cylinders, and unload from tank hanger; monitor lines for quality.
• Perform leaks checks and address weight or sleeve issues; ensure safety compliance.

This is a hands‑on, labor‑intensive role where you’ll frequently lift and stack 40 lb. propane cylinders while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Every cylinder you handle is cleaned, leak‑tested, and inspected, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. Pay

With consistent learning and strong performance, you can quickly advance from Level I to Level II and up to Senior Level. Below is the pay scale that shows your opportunity for growth:

• Job Title Hourly Rate

• Sr Production Specialist $ 20.50

Responsibilities

• Performs Washer functions which include placing cylinders on conveyer belt, sorting, removing sleeve and peeling label.
• Cylinders dispatch to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Completes Paint Line operations which include loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger.
• Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry station, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing).
• Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
• Performs cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.
• Stacks finished product.
• Checks for quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Possess integrity and a good work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
• Ability to work overtime, as required
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States
• Applicants must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
