Job summary

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is seeking a 2nd shift Production Specialist to join a safety‑focused, outdoors manufacturing team. This hands‑on role involves lifting 40 lb cylinders, operating paint lines, and supporting quality checks to ensure safe, reliable propane products.

You’ll work in a physically demanding, team‑oriented environment with opportunities to learn and advance through levels I–III based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Applicants must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated punctual, dependable, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Place cylinders on conveyor belt, sort, remove sleeve and peel label.
• Dispatch cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Complete Paint Line operations: load cylinders in tank hanger, apply paint bag, unload tank hanger.
• Operate Shot Blast, Tare weight entry, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing).
• Check for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
• Perform cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.
• Stack finished product.
• Check quality assurance.
• Some positions may require lifting 35 pounds repeatedly in all weather conditions.

This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role where you’ll frequently lift and stack 40 lb. propane cylinders while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Every cylinder you handle is cleaned, leak-tested, and inspected, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers. Responsibilities

• Performs Washer functions which include placing cylinders on conveyer belt, sorting, removing sleeve and peeling label.
• Cylinders dispatch to paint, fill, or rework stations.
• Completes Paint Line operations which include loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger.
• Operates Shot Blast, Tare weight entry station, Capper (data code label), and Stacker (palletizing).
• Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
• Performs cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.

Qualifications
