Job summary

Amcor seeks a Production Supervisor to coordinate daily activities of the Production Team, drive maximum productivity, and develop a safe, efficient shift environment at the Oklahoma City plant. You will oversee up to 50 hourly associates, ensuring quality and adherence to policies.

You will directly manage mold techs, team leaders, and operators, verify attendance, and document evaluations. Enforce corrective actions and vacation approvals in coordination with HR and Department leadership.

Qualifications

• High school education; some college or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Clerical, computer skills and good verbal communications.
• Most of the shift spent standing and walking during 12 hour shifts.
• Hearing protection required in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Follow all established safety procedures in plant.
• Track and direct all parts manufactured as needed for work order.
• Train new associates, completing 30-60-90 day probationary period evaluations, and recommend discharge or retention.
• Prepare all reports by thoroughly investigating an accident and ensuring medical treatment.
• Manage housekeeping of the entire production area.
