Job summary

Amcor, a global leader in packaging, seeks a Supervisor to oversee shift production personnel and equipment in the Custom Films Division. You will train, evaluate, and mentor staff, ensure lines meet specs, and record daily production.

Responsibilities include safety, performance reviews, and coordinating with maintenance for downtime planning. Duty requires twelve-hour shifts, overtime as needed, and maintaining PPE adherence.

Responsibilities

• Prepares jobs for production.
• Replaces broken hand equipment and ensures PPE usage.
• Oversees shift training, evaluation, and performance reviews.
• Maintains shift safety program and safe work environment.
• Coordinates with Maintenance for scheduled shutdowns and repairs.
• Assigns personnel to production lines and ensures setups and quality checks.
• Inspects lines to ensure compliance with job specifications and records production.
• Forecasts equipment usage for future orders.
• Performs administrative duties as required.
