Job summary

Amcor Limited in Pittston, PA, is seeking a skilled Shift Supervisor to lead mold techs, team leaders and machine operators on the production floor. You will ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery while managing attendance, performance, and day-to-day communications across the shift.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years in manufacturing supervision, strong leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2+ years’ experience in supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to manufacturing environment and loud noise; Hearing protection required at times.
• Good communication skills--verbal and written; effectively communicate with customers, both external and internal
• Independent in working effectively with little supervision; self-starter, displaying ability to work and deliver results in a fast-paced, performance driven environment.
• Proven leader and motivator.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise mold techs, team leaders, and machine operators to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.
• Track and direct parts manufactured for work orders.
• Oversee production rate of skilled labor to monitor workflow, efficiency and quality.
• Issue corrective action notifications for program areas failing to meet quality/delivery expectations.
• Manage attendance, vacation requests, time cards, and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare accident reports and investigate injuries; ensure accurate timekeeping on shift.
