Job summary

TruTeam, a leader in energy-efficient insulation and building materials, seeks an experienced operations manager to blend production oversight with strategic sales support. You will supervise installers, coordinate dispatch, ensure safety, and drive performance metrics while partnering with the sales team to close deals and optimize margins.

Qualifications

• Analytical background with problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and “what-if” analyses.
• Experience interpreting financial trends and metrics.
• Knowledge of ERP applications, preferably Oracle.
• Self-management and project management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations including scheduling, dispatch, and load in/out.
• Lead production staff to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.
• Track department performance against key metrics and report insights.
• Develop production strategy aligned with company goals.
• Partner with Sales to drive margin-friendly new business and maintain existing accounts.
• Manage safety program and conduct site safety meetings.
• Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for the site.
• Direct employee performance reviews and development plans.
