Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of personnel and enforce policies, food safety guidelines and GMPs
• Understand daily production requirements, set up line(s) and deploy personnel
• Act as back-up for absences or breaks
• Record data and generate reports (departmental, attendance, yields)
• Train/cross-train employees in departmental processes
• Identify opportunities for process optimization (throughput, waste reduction, ergonomics)
• Participate in process improvements and monitor improvement metrics
• Attend and contribute in departmental meetings
• Follow safety initiatives to maintain a zero-accident culture
• Collaborate with other departments to meet objectives
• Perform additional duties as assigned
