Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Production Planner to plan and prepare production programs for the manufacture of industrial products. You will monitor the master plan, issue operations and materials, and drive scheduling to meet delivery dates.

Responsibilities include optimizing inventory and production efficiencies, expediting when needed, and preparing regular planning reports. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Manufacturing or supply chain.
• 3–5 years planning of manufacturing operations experience.
• Fluency in English (read, write and speak).
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
• Desirable experience using MRP or Enterprise systems in Planning or Production Control.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare production schedules to meet the master plan.
• Level production to optimize material resources and man-hours.
• Control shop orders and expedites delayed operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly planning reports.
• Maintain KPIs and participate in Kaizen events.
