Job summary

Vertiv in Anderson, SC seeks a Production Planner to coordinate schedules for assigned production areas and align operations with the master plan to meet delivery commitments. You will optimize material and labor usage, monitor shop orders, and participate in daily stand-ups to expedite delays.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Supply Chain, 3–5 years of planning experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or supply chain is required.
• 3–5 years of planning experience in a manufacturing operation.
• Fluency in English (read, write and speak).
• Proficiency in MS Office; advanced PowerPoint skills required.
• MRP/ERP planning experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare production schedules for the manufacture of products in the assigned areas in a timely manner.
• Level production to optimize use of material resources and man-hours.
• Control shop orders on the production floor and manage order changes; participate in daily meetings.
• Expedite operations and/or materials delaying production to meet promised dates.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly planning reports.
• Maintain KPIs in Tier meetings; perform Gemba Walks.
