Job summary

Vertiv Corporation seeks a Planner in Ironton, Ohio to drive stability in production and inventory while supporting internal and external customers. The position requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include developing run strategies, coordinating with engineering for forecasts, and ensuring material availability and accurate system reporting.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a stockroom, warehousing, or inventory movement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a stable run strategy of assigned products to optimize production, inventory, and efficiency.
• Communicate daily/weekly plan with production team.
• Ensure change over times, standard hours, rates and demonstrated capacity are reflected in plans.
• Interface with Engineering to establish high level forecast/schedule.
• Ensure parts necessary for production are ordered internally or through suppliers.
• Ensure material for production is available and reported accurately in the system.
• Create shop orders on IFS to fulfill production needs.
• Issue material upon completion of process.
• Close out shop orders and report operations for completed jobs.
• Coordinate material shortages with department leaders and purchasing.
• Coordinate with material team on material requirements and deliveries.
• Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Apply 5S techniques to workspace and inventory storage.
• Maintain knowledge of products and parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
