Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to develop and maintain the master production schedule, balancing forecast, inventory targets, and customer requests. You will coordinate with production control and the operations team to ensure on-time delivery of products and manage procurement activities.

The role requires strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to collaborate across Operations, Sales, and Customer Service.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Proven ability to balance customer demand, inventory targets, and production capacity.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• Excellent communication across Operations, Production, Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, and Leadership teams.
• APICS/ASCM certification preferred.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on forecast, inventory objectives, and customer requests.
• Review and ensure that production requirement dates and customer delivery schedules are in sync.
• Highlight significant issues of delayed shipments, production problems, inventory shortages and status to management daily.
• Coordinate solutions to schedule issues with production control and operations to ensure on-time delivery.
• Utilize forecasting techniques to manage manufacturing contracts with key customers on high-volume products.
• Facilitate daily production meetings to share status of material and ship dates.
• Plan, organize, direct and control procurement activities.
• Analyze delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and report findings.
