Job summary

Vertiv in Ironton, Ohio, is seeking a Planner to organize and optimize production, inventory, and scheduling. The role requires coordinating with production, engineering, purchasing, and material teams to ensure timely availability of parts and accurate reporting in the ERP system.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in stockroom or inventory movement, plus ERP experience such as IFS and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in stockroom, warehousing, or inventory movement.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a stockroom, warehousing, or inventory movement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a stable run strategy of assigned products to optimize production, inventory, and efficiency.
• Communicate daily/weekly plan with production team.
• Ensure change over times, standard hours, rates and demonstrated capacity are reflected in plans.
• Interface with Engineering to establish high level forecast/schedule.
• Ensure material needed for production is ordered and available.
• Create shop orders on IFS to fulfill needs of production.
• Close out completed shop orders and report operations in the system.
• Coordinate material shortages/needs with departments and purchasing.
• Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Apply 5S techniques to workspace and inventory storage.
