Job summary

Niagara Bottling in Vernon, CA is seeking a Production Manager (Plastic Recycling) to oversee the Recycling Production Department, ensure safety, quality, and throughput, and meet production goals in line with food safety requirements.

You will lead supervisors, coordinate with planning, manage budgets, drive continuous improvement, and work across departments to meet deadlines while championing a world-class safety culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related vocational studies.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related vocational studies.
• 6+ years experience in field or similar manufacturing environment; 4+ years managing people/projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the Recycling Production Department to meet safety, quality and throughput goals.
• Collaborates with planning to create production schedules that meet internal and external needs.
• Directs and optimizes work procedures to align with the production plan.
• Leads supervisors, coaching and performance reviews; partners with HR for recruitment and actions.
• Develops budgets and forecasts with Plant Director and Planning Department.
• Implements methods to improve production, equipment performance and quality.
