Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily operations of the Production Department, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput goals are met in compliance with food safety standards.

You will direct supervisors, collaborate with planning to schedule production, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and champion a world-class safety culture across the plant in Bloomfield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related vocational studies.
• Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related vocational studies.
• 6 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
• 6 Years – Experience in Position.
• 4 Years – Experience managing people/projects.
• 10+ Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment.
• 10+ Years – Experience working in Position.
• 6 Years – Experience managing people/projects.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs activities of the production department, ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput.
• Collaborates with the planning department to create production schedules that meet both internal and external needs.
• Maintains effective working relationships with team members to promote safety, engagement, productivity, and throughput.
• Provides direction to supervisors on coaching, development, hiring, training, and performance reviews, and partners with HR for recruitment and actions.
• Collaborates with Maintenance to plan preventative maintenance on production lines.
• Analyzes and submits reports for production numbers, downtime, attendance, overtime and quality checks.
• Partners with Plant Director and Planning to develop the Production Department budget and forecast.
• Develops measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related vocational studies
