Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Production Supervisor to supervise daily production floor operations, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput while meeting production goals. The role involves coaching team members, managing schedules, and coordinating with maintenance and HR for staffing and performance management.

The supervisor will monitor changeovers, conduct safety talks, and ensure GMP and food safety standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 4 years – experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• Minimum: 4 years – experience in position.
• Minimum: 4 years – experience managing people/projects (experience may include a combination of work experience and education).
• Preferred: 6 years – experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: 6 years – experience working in position.
• Preferred: 6 years – experience managing people/projects.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs activities of assigned shift, ensuring product adheres to Niagara's safety, quality, and throughput.
• Maintains effective working relationships with team members to promote safety, engagement, productivity, and throughput.
• Analyzes the production schedule prior to shift start and adjusts assignments to meet targets.
• Verifies discrete jobs in Oracle, Warehouse Management System, and Line Management System.
• Coaches and develops team members; makes employment decisions and resolves conflicts.
• Interviews with hiring managers and collaborates with plant leadership to champion a safety culture.
• Performs safety talks, daily meetings, and safety walks; enforces GMP and Food Safety Standards.
