Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily production and maintenance activities to meet goals.
• Communicate priorities with foremen and team members.
• Create team assignments and set clear expectations.
• Monitor schedules, resources, and workforce capacity; adjust as needed.
• Maintain appropriate levels of production and maintenance supplies.
• Track department performance and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct daily start-up meetings and keep ongoing communication.
• Spend time on the production floor to support employees.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout processes.
• Train and support new employees on safety and job duties.
• Collaborate with managers to identify improvements and resolve issues.
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching conversations.
• Coach employees through development opportunities.
• Identify training opportunities to boost performance and engagement.
• Promote workplace safety through training and continuous improvement.
• Monitor attendance and maintain accurate records.
• Complete required data entry in company systems.
• Coordinate EHS responsibilities including inspections and training.
• Participate in meetings on coaching, safety, and strategy.
• Assist with candidate interviews and onboarding activities.
• Implement processes that improve efficiency and quality.
