Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team, drive daily production goals, and pursue ongoing process improvements. The role covers safety, quality, customer service, housekeeping, training, and performance management within a fast-paced plant environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership experience in manufacturing or construction settings, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with all levels of staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as a supervisor or department lead in manufacturing, construction or similar setting.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proven hands-on manager with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all employees and management.
• Time management skills to stay on task and meet production goals.
• Strong leadership and teamwork orientation with excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain employee training standards and direct teams to build homes and components safely and efficiently.
• Ensure departmental workplace safety and maintain safe working conditions.
• Interpret and clarify rules, regulations, and policies; ensure plant compliance.
• Manage personnel professionally, treating all employees with honesty, respect and dignity.
• Monitor material usage to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
• Maintain proper records, reports and correspondence as required.
• Ensure employees have proper tools and equipment to perform duties.
• Demonstrate a good work ethic and personal integrity.
• Ensure and enforce expected product workmanship quality.
