Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Production Lead for the third shift to guide a manufacturing team in a fast-paced automotive environment. The role focuses on safety, quality, and delivery, with accountability for daily results and continuous improvement.

You will train staff, monitor metrics, and ensure adherence to customer and company standards while maintaining a safe, efficient workspace aligned with 5S principles.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma required; post-secondary education is a plus.
• Experience: Previous manufacturing experience in JIT/JIS environments preferred.
• Certifications: Forklift experience is an asset.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production teams to meet daily goals for safety, quality, and delivery.
• Train and mentor team members on work instructions and quality standards.
• Inspect parts and ensure compliance with customer and company requirements.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment (5S principles).
• Assist with scheduling breaks, implementing rotation plans, and tracking production metrics.
