Job summary

ABB is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead the shift team, monitor progress against work plans, and ensure proper use of machinery, equipment, and assembly lines. You will provide guidance to keep production on track and maintain safety and quality standards.

You will collaborate with the unit supervisor to reinforce schedules, manage staff movements, address line issues, and support on-time delivery and continuous improvement across the production area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift team's progress against work plans defined by Production management to ensure proper use of machinery, equipment and assembly lines.
• Provide regular feedback and make recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including line organization and shifting priorities.
• Reinforce production schedules and quality with the unit supervisor and shift team.
• Assist management with staffing movements during vacations, illnesses, or machine outages and shifting priorities.
• Oversee allocation, coordination, and execution of shift orders and work plans within production lines.
• Serve as a leader during shifts to resolve technical/quality problems and logistic issues.
